Tasty and spicy Caviar dishes?
I have a 100g bottle of red caviar and another 100g of black (or maybe dark blue) caviar. Can our Yahoo readers suggest some good and spicy recipes please?
Never tasted or cooked caviar yet.
Ok ~ first off you don’t cook it ~ it’s eggs from a fish, and you eat it raw.
Next ~ it has a delicate flavour so you don’t want to put too much of anything on it to “kill” that flavour.
Try out a little on something like canapes ~ small biscuits [plain is better] put some cottage cream, or small pieces of smoked salmon on them and then put a small amount of the caviar on top ~ lovely starter.
Cook some scrambled eggs, and add the salmon, and then garnish with the caviar ~ the thing to remember is not to over do the caviar, it has this taste that finishes off a dish similar [but better] than a relish
