Windows 2000 server installation.?
I have a compaq proliant ML330 G2 server and i bought a new hard disk for it. It is not picking upi the hard disk. Windows server’s setup is picking it up, formats it and reboots the machine but this is as far as it goes. It does the cycle again. How do i get over this?
I’m not sure what size hard drive you put in it, but since the Server is fairly old, it could be that your BIOS doesn’t support hard drives this big. Some manufacturers provide BIOS updates for download to fix this kind of problem. You could find out if there’s and update for your BIOS chip with large hard drive support and that should fix it.
