Sata Port Help on Dell Dimension E310?
ok i have a Dell Dimension e310, i have 2 onboard sata ports, 1st port is connected to my hard drive, and the 2nd port doesn’t have anything connected to it (example – http://i56.tinypic.com/ve0m1g.jpg)
im trying to flash my Hitachi 47 DVDRom drive, but whenever i enable the 2nd port in BIOS it doesnt boot my hard drive and tells me NTRL is missing, and wants me to reboot. what is wrong here, can anyone help?
Go into the BIOS settings and in the boot device settings, ensure that your hard drive is selected as the first boot device.
