trying fo find appropriate universal adapter for Dell Inspiron adapter?

OK I’d like a universal adapter so the one I get will work with any laptop I get in the future. One I am looking at says the following:
Output Voltage:12V/15V/16V/18V/19V/20V/24V(0/+0.5V No Load) DC 12V-24V

I am SURPRISED at your QUESTION but did click on your DELL website. Why? bec we own 3 DELL Notebook PCs (Inspiron E1505/6400, Latitude D620 and Latitude D800) and not one has ever had a problem with the AC adapter. In fact all 2 of 3 DELL Notebooks can use all 3 DELL Adaptors: PA 10 or PA 12 <= can remember which one is bigger 90Watt but as you might already know DELL tells owners exactly which corresponding DELL AC ADAPTOR is compatible right on the bottom of each DELL NOTEBOOK PC...
