But even reconditioning can add risk to the other components that have not received reconditioning. The warranties work like standard warranties so you won’t have to worry about parts dying out on you for the next couple of years since you made the purchase.

Reconditioned laptops are just about as attractive as the ones sold in stores. You may find less variety and the newest laptops around will still top the performance and reliability charts but those looking for a cheap deal will find these laptops to fit right in. Plus you won’t find any of the disadvantages and risks that second hand laptops entail.
