Drivestation Duo

I bought a Buffalo Drivestation Duo (500GB) and I am plagued by the Windows error, “Delayed Write Failed”. I have tried every fix on the Internet and only managed to reduce the occurance of the fault.
Having given up on that I want to replace the drive with a NAS device with twin hard drives, total about 500GB and preferrably user replacable, but I want to spend less than £350.
Do you know if with a NAS box I will be spared the DWF error and do you have any recommendations for a NAS device that fits my requirements?
Many thanks
John
Netgear sell some of the cheapest NAS devices. Check out their SC101 Network Storage Unit, Dual IDE, Single RJ45. You can get your own drives for under £100 for 500MB. Total < £200. Properly configured, you shouldn't get DWF.
