Eide Pata
Is it possible that… (Hard Drive)?

Is it possible that I have two plugs of different interfaces (ex. 1 is EIDE/PATA, and the other is SATA?)
Also, is it possible that I have only one plug on the motherboard? Or do I HAVE TO have 2 (Primary+Slave?)

Thanks.
I don’t know my motherboard model (i looked everywhere), but my computer model is eMachines T3112

In regards to EIDE/PATA, You don’t _HAVE_ to have two. One cable can accommodate two devices (Master+Slave) as per the jumper settings on that device. Most mainboards have two PATA interfaces, allowing 4 EIDE devices.. Your mainboard seems to be the K8MM-V from MSI. Check the below link to verify visually. It has 2 SATA connectors as well. Hard to tell at low resolution of that pic, but I’d say they’re the orange headers on the bottom left, and the IDE is the yellow ones stacked vertically in the center of the bottom of this picture. So yeah, you have 2 of each.
