One of the most important things that you need to know is  the Personal Computer Parts. Computer Hardware refers to the parts of your Computer that you can actually touch and see. It includes the CPU, the monitor, and the  electrical source. This is the counterpart of what is called the Computer software, which refers to the operating system, like Windows, Mac or Linux, and the programs that you put into it like Microsoft Office, Adobe photoshop and even the games that you play like solitaire and minesweeper.

1. What your purpose is
Like any other thing, what you decide to buy will depend on your usage. What you intend to  do with your Computer will help you  decide on what kind of Hardware you will need to buy. For instance, if you want to use the Desktop Computer for word processing, you don’t need to  buy the ones with a lot of graphics power. If however you need it for layout  and photos, then something with a high graphic card will be ideal. It is important that you first decide on why you are Purchasing the PC and then decide on it. 

2. What your budget is
Personal Computer Hardware will make up most of the budget that you will use in Buying the Computer.  Thus, you need to look at what you are willing to spend before you decide  on the Parts. For instance, one with a faster processor will be more expensive.  The same goes with a hard disk that have more storage space. Check your money and then decide. 

3. How  long do you want it 
Depends on how often and how long you are going to use the Desktop, you will need to check on the brands that you will want to buy. There are brands that are cheaper but are not known for their long term use. If however you will use  it for internet connection then, unbranded ones will do.
