i want to find out where can i buy the Green Power Switch (electricity saving switch & outlets) for my home?
With all due repect; if you find any; let the entire World know.
Certainly there are timers for lighting and appliances.
One way to SAVE, might be just “shutting off” certain things; especially all items that have “Soft Off” systems; IE: Comps/ Cable TV/ etc. Even small amounts of energy are being drawn in those appliances that have instant on, or remain in suspension modes.
You might also invest in a timer system for your hot water; allowing for peak period use. Using a Micro Wave oven is more efficient than the usual one. Obviously the refrig. can’t be timed or shut off; but you can manage its energy use by fractional dial changes. Turn off lights when not in use; and/or ceiling fans. Adjust heating and cooling by fractions in degrees, allowing less energy draw.
Beyond those; check filters for ac/heat systems, and replace with clean; regularly. Check attic/crawl space insulation, and add more if possible. Check windows/doorways for how well they are sealed.
