Hdd Enhanced

I just got a new laptop hard drive and put it in my laptop and the BIOS is recognizing it as a different hdd.?
I have a hitachi DK23BA-15 laptop hard drive and it is being recognized in the BIOS as a Enhanced(IDE HDD) why might it be doing this.And how can I fix it?
that is not a problem just load it up and go
