EIDE on an IDE Motherboard?
Hi. My motherboard supports IDE hard drives, but I was wondering if it will support EIDE hard drives as well. Thanks.
Today they’re just marketing terms. If your motherboard was made after 2000 or so, you have full compatibility. Size limitations are common with older IDE/ATA motherboards.
