Tips To Help You Increase Your Jumping Power

A lot of people who like to play basketball, have wished at least once that they too could dunk. This is the unique attribute of a basketball player, and when you can’t jump that high, you can feel put off. The rim is 10 feet off the ground, so honestly your having to jump 3 feet up, and that is hard to do. No need to lose sleep though, there are a bunch of ways to build up your vertical explosion muscles so you can start dunking like a pro. I’ll start you off with a few pointers.

Step 1, step off with depleting excess fat.

This is appreciable, because the less you weigh, the longer and higher you can jump. You can simply change part of your routine by adding cardio and dieting to get the results you want. If you wanna burn excess fat jump rope, swimming and running are awesome ways to do it.

Step 2, go into training your leg muscles.

Jumping power comes from the waist down. A few exercises you can start off with are squats, leg raises, leg curls and toe raises. Also try to build the abs and back muscles to strengthen your core for stability.

Step 3, start jumping.

This one is simple. But instead of just jumping normally, if you can add weights. One way to work on your vertical explosion muscles is by using 15-35 pound weights and using all your energy to jump. Work with what is satisfying for yourself.

Vertical explosion muscles have to be trained so that you can jump higher and be able to drunk too. You need to do more than just jump with weights and eat healthy to get what you want. Has anyone ever told you that there are over 20 exercises to help you start jumping higher? For more information on the se exercises and more, I suggest looking at the Jump Manual by Jacob Hiller.
