what would happen if i connected a usb cable from my basic digital cable box to my samsung 1080p 32 inch hdtv’?
there is a usb port on the back of my cable box, can i hook it into my hdtv usb port and if so what would happen?
Depends on the box. Also a usb cable won’t work because I’d be very surprised if it had one. A HDMI connection on the other hand would work and they should be at least in the TV and on most boxes. It looks a lot like a USB connection. Unless there are free HD channels though you won’t get a true HD picture but it’d still be a good one.
