how to share ur music library of windows media player on LAN ( local area network ) ?
we have LAN here in college ..when open windows media player i can see music libraries of other computers connected through LAN .. and i can hear to those music library .. how can i share mine music library so that others can here my songs in music library ????
Check to see if you are sharing your “My Music” folder. Typically that’s where the windows media player will look for music on shared computers. If you have windows 7, click start, type “network and sharing center” press enter, click “choose home group and sharing options”, check “Music” under “Shared libraries and printers”.
If it’s not in your “my music”, you want to share the folder that contains your music files. browse to that folder, right click on the folder, click Properties, click “sharing”, click “Share” and then choose your network.
