Is Intel WiFi link 5300 wireless card compatible with my Dell Inspiron 1420?
I have dell inspiron 1420(2.2 ghz/2.5ram/Win7) and my internet connection is always slow. I think its because of my wifi card which came as default in the computer 2 yrs back. I was thinking about upgrading it with “Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5300 IEEE 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N Network Mini PCIe Laptop Wireless Card” which i can find for 20$. I don;t know about the compatibility..
anybody have an idea if that will boost the performance or it will be compatible with my laptop or not,,>????
Unless you are knowledgable in disassembly of your laptop, I would not recommend trying to replace the INTERNAL wireless card on your laptop, because you will have to open it up to verify that your laptop can even use the card or has the proper antenna connections for it.
