My Notebook power supply died and need to move drive?

I’m need to get the data off of my old notebook drive. I have an IDE drive enclosure and can access most of the files. Unfortunately, the document directory that I need for my user ID is not accessible. I assume because there was a password on the user ID. Anyway to access the drive short of finding a laptop that has IDE drive and put my old one in it.

Exactly as poster 1 said. Go online, get a cheap aftermarket power supply and it’s done.
