How to do lead-free manual soldering easier?
It is more difficult to do manual soldering with lead-free solder, not as easy as leaded solder. It is also quite easily lifted the copper pad of the PCB. Increase soldering temperature of soldering iron? Or other easier and effective trick?
Increasing the temperature of the soldering iron will help, but it may also cause more damage to components and PCB traces. You could also try a different solder alloy with a lower melting point. There are many different types available, though some of them are rather expensive. Have a look at the following links for info on the different alloys and their advantages and disadvantages. I usually use one the SnAgCu alloys, which work much better for electronics than the SnSb alloys.
