Can I put a PCIe x1 device in a x16 slot?
This may seem a stupid question, but I am having a card slot shortege problem, and am wondering if I can utilize the free PCIe x16 slots on my Motherboard for PCIe x1 devices. If I can’t, can anyone tell me how I might be able to some other way, or let me know of any PCIe x16 SATA or Wireless cards?
