B. A VCR attached by a FireWire/iLink
C. A keyboard attached by a standard DIN connector
D. A printer attached to a parallel port

Which monitor provides the highest level of performance?
A. CGA C. SVGA
B. VGA D. XGA

Thank you so much if you can answer these for me I am doing my homework in computer repair class.

Newer FireWire and SCSI devices are hot-swappable. But older ones must be notified via the software before unplugging them. So technically they are hot-swappable. A&B are both correct, but A is “more” correct, if you are only allowed one answer.

C and D are not hot-swappable. I have witnessed DIN device removal freeze computers. Printer parallel ports (also known as IEEE-1284 ports) weren’t designed for hot plugging, either.

CGA is poorest, followed by EGA, VGA, and SVGA. XGA is one of the latest versions, and is probably the correct answer (D)
