Can you cook Rice a Roni in a rice cooker?
Just wondering if I can cook rice a roni in a rice cooker and do I need to follow the liquid measures that the box directions call for or no?
Let me just throw this little bit in too…
I don’t want to have to brown it in a pan first. Just throw all the ingredients in the cooker and push cook. Would it work?
I wouldn’t. Rice a Roni cooks very quickly and because of the added spices and ingredients it might not work in a rice cooker. I think you would actually be adding more work if you did it that way instead of just using a pan as it says in the directions. Best of luck!
