new dvd writer keeps shutting down xp pro sp2 ,sata change ide still the same problem ?
athlon 64 3200 on biostar 6100-939 ,samsung sata,then change LG ide ,board can detect drive,but once disk is reading it shuts down system.any idea how to solve ?
It is possible that the power supply from the SMPS is not adequate enough for the board. Check whether you got atleast 450 Watt SMPS. Possibly 500 watts may be required.
