How to install OS on a Solid State Drive?

I’m thinking of building my own computer and using a solid state drive (Intel X25-V 40GB 2.5-inch SATA II Internal MLC Solid State Drive) to install windows 7 on and using a hard drive (Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB SATAII 16MB Cache 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive OEM) to store my files on. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could do this.
P.S this is my first custom built computer so if you could use as least technical language as possible that would be appreciated.

The same way you install it on a hard drive. Your computer doesn’t distinguish between a solid state drive and a hard drive- it just has a data device connected through a SATA connection and it knows how to write to it.
