Lenovo G560, Awesome Notebook When Using The Best Price
I’ve owned this Lenovo G560 for about a week now and am particularly impressed. The amount of power you obtain for your money these days is definitely unbelievable. The Core i3-380M is typically the second-fastest Arrandale-based Core i3 in Intel’s mobile phone line-up, so its performance is very close to most of the lower-end Core i5 CPUs but in a more affordable price. The combination in this CPU and the on-chip integrated graphics create a pretty cool (temperature-wise) machine. The fan doesn’t come on all the often and it never gets too hot to touch. So far it seems like I will get around 3 1/2 hours through the included battery.
The build quality has the opinion nice and solid. There’s not really any bending or flexing anywhere – no flaws I can find. The screen is bright and sharp and also the 15. 6″ size is just most suitable. It might be a little big if you planned on traveling with it plenty but I’ll be using this normally for home use. One of some great benefits of this size laptop is the built-in numeric keypad. Should you choose a lot of work in Shine, for example, it’s nice to possess. Usually once you go down to 14″ notebooks you lose that option. I’m also a fan of this keyboard. The keys aren’t too loud nonetheless they have a nice feel to these, very easy to type quickly about. Some of the other notebooks I researched have somewhat flat-looking keys, which looks like the trend right now but seems more form over function in my opinion. This keyboard of the Lenovo G560 Laptop is great though.
I swapped out the hard drive with a Kingston SSD and was impressed to observe Lenovo using quality components. I’m confident they switch which components they usage from time-to-time, but mine came with a Western Digital Scorpio Blue harddrive (which I’m now using as a powerful external drive for back-up) and one or two sticks of Samsung memory. Everything looked nice and tidy inside hood.
All-in-all I’m very pleased with my Lenovo G560 and would endorse this. For not much more money than plenty of netbooks (and cheaper than most tablets) this really is way more powerful and functional.
