Adding IDE Drive to SCSI. How?
I’m using SCSI HDD now, and i want to add IDE drive to add more space / drive. The IDE i want to add has an Operating system on it. (Windows XP Pro)
I set the jumper of IDE as slave and connected it.
the problem is:
whenever i boot the system, it boots on IDE hard drive and not on SCSI! and when i check the drives, my SCSI is already added as drive E:
I want to use my SCSI drive as primary and IDE as a drive for my files. Please tell how to properly do it. Thanks in advance.

BIOS is your issue.
Its look at the wrong drive for a operating system
When the computer starts up, youll see the black and white txt screen, push Delete or F2 or similar to get into bios. Inside you will find somewhere in the advanced properties the BOOT ORDER, or HARD DRIVE PRIORITY. Make sure your SCIS HDD is at the top of the list. That way the BIOS will look toward the SCIS for a operating system before it looks to the IDE HDD
