I have a seagate external HD that loads my desktop screen with files and pictures what do i do to stop this?
The hard drive is a seagate freeagent go with 320 gigs. I think its stuff i used to have on my old desktop screen and was saved at some point. Its really annoying and I need to stop it because i have to keep deleting it. Thanks
If you are not using the external hard drive you can delete the segate software all together. To do that go to start, manage programs, and delete the software responsible.
How do I change the backup source and destination in BounceBack Express?
To change the destination, Opening the settings window
Windows users:
Go to the Windows Start button > Go to Programs > Choose the BounceBack Express Opening the settings window
Editing the job
1.Once in the settings window, you can edit a job by highlighting the job and clicking the EDIT button.
2.Change the Source and Backup locations by clicking the Source and choosing EDIT.
3.This will open a new window which will allow you to choose your source by drilling down to the location you want to backup. If you want to backup a specific file type, change the *.* in the file type box to *.ext where “ext” is the extension of the files you want to backup, then click OK.
4.Now choose the destination by drilling down to the folder you want to backup to. If you want to create a new folder, type the name of the folder in the New Folder box and it will be created under the currently selected folder. This new folder will not be created until the first time the job is run.
5.Once you have selected the destination click OK. This will take you back to the settings window.
6.You can exit the settings window by clicking OK.
