How do i put games on my TI-84 Plus Silver Edition?
I need detailed instructions on how to put games on my TI-84 Plus Silver Edition Calculator. I already have the usb cord and the TI Connect Program (im using a laptop runnning windows vista…..if that effects it at all) ———-DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE———-
Make sure that TI-Connect is able to detect your calculator. Open TI-Connect, connect the calc to the computer and turn it (the calculator) on. In TI-Connect, go to TI-DeviceExplorer. If everything installed successfully, it will be able to detect your calculator and will list a directory of its data.
To transfer programs or applications, there are two possible ways. The easiest way would probably be to right-click on the .8xp or .8xk file and select “Send to TI Device”, which should have been installed with TI-Connect.
Otherwise, open TI-DeviceExplorer and go to Tools > Windows Explorer. In the window that appears, navigate to the location of the .8xp/.8xk file. Then, just drag it from Windows Explorer to the TI-DeviceExplorer window. That should begin the transfer process.
