HARD DRIVES

i have toshiba tecra laptop and it doesnt have any sound. how can i get the audio back?

i have a toshiba tecra laptop for couple years now. but i just recently formatted the whole system and now i dont have any drivers like sound or graphics. so i went to tochiba drivers’ site but it wants the model number. but the problem is its been so long that i forgot all the info abt the laptop. i think its either 8100 or 8200 but not sure. is there any way i can detect whats my model and get the drivers from some website. thank you

u got a box, papers, nething that cam with the computer? look on the computer it should say what model it is. or u could just try the one u think it is, google the model and see if the specs match up or look for pics.
