Whats better!? Installing the OS on a stand-alone drive or in a partition?
Im buying 2 HDDs one is a 80 GB drive and the other is a 1TB drive, both are 7,200 Sata drives.
Whats better, Making a 100 GB partition on the terabyte drive and installing the OS there, or installing the OS on the 80GB drive Directly… Thanks!

Windows uses about 20GB, then you have to figure in all of the Updates and the life of your computer, Windows 7, 64-Bit will do just fine on the 80GB. Most people can’t use 60GB on updates in the life of a Windows Computer… Most people won’t even use 20GB in the life of their computer. So that will work, you may also want to install your security software on the 80GB too, and use the rest for storage.
